My name is Matt and I own and operate Zoominac.com. Generally speaking, I started this blog to cover politics, current events, and business from a libertarian-leaning-conservative perspective. More specifically, I really want to make a difference by getting through a lot of liberal myths about limited government and capitalism, and to show how beneficial the two are. My belief is that the benefits of libertarianism and conservatism are covered up by the powers that be, and that true free-market capitalism is understood only by a small minority of people. I want to correct that.
I also like to view things through a historical lens by seeing examples from the past of what is going on today. I might even dabble in sports here or there if I find it relevant.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, I have lived in central Florida since 1996. When I’m not writing on Zoominac, I enjoy driving around with my girlfriend, watching the Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Lightning, and taking care of my two pet rabbits (both hardcore conservatives).
